Great old time steakhouse. Our entire party ordered the filets, 2 regular, and 2 large. Being from Omaha, I am definitely a steak snob. I know how good steak should taste. This was absolutely delicious meat, perfectly prepared. I did not like the fact, however, that my filet was butterflied. The chef should be able to prepare a medium steak without dissecting it. You ALWAYS lose some juices when you cut a steak, and would rather those juices were on my plate, rather than on their grill. Other than that, the food was A+. I also found it a little annoying that when we called for reservations, we were told there were no reservations on a Sunday night. OK. That's cool. They can do whatever they choose. But, the very first table when we walked in had a RESERVED sign on it. Not the end of the world, but a tad rude I felt. Our waitress was a delight! The bread they gave us as an appetizer was yummy, and there was definitely enough of it to satisfy everyone at the table. The restrooms were clean. I would grade this restaurant a 4.5, and only hold off from awarding a 5 due to the fact that the steak was butterflied without my knowledge or permission.
