The lobby smelled a little like cigarette smoke when we walked in the front door. The hallways all smelled strongly of smoke. The front desk clerk said when we asked her if anyone smoked in the rooms, that if anyone was caught smoking, it was a $100 fine they would not be refunded. The room above ours was very noisy, with what sounded like kids running back and forth all hours of the night. The staff was very friendly and prompt in fulfilling our requests. The housekeeper only emptied the trash, made the bed, and replenished the towels; he/she did not replace soaps, shampoos, or toilet paper--we had to request more. Our room was around back, away from all the traffic of the highway and people coming in and out of the hotel, and was right around the corner from the elevator, so we didn't have far to walk from the car or to the room on 2nd floor. The pool/spa area was very clean and neat; the pool and spa were clean and looked very good; I swam in the pool for a while, then got in the spa for a few minutes; I was the only one there, so it was very peaceful. The room did not smell bad at all...it was very pleasant-smelling when we walked in, like someone had just sprayed air freshener or vacuumed with carpet freshener. Very speedy check-in and check-out; very friendly staff. After a brief rain shower one evening, we returned to find lots of ants all over the table and in the restroom, and had to call maintenance to spray them. This is just a little annoying to me and my wife, but not really a problem: when the bathroom light is turned on, the exhaust vent comes on too. We don't always need the vent, so it was difficult to hear each other if one of us was in the bathroom, and the other was in the main room. There needs to be a separate switch for the fan. Overall, I would probably stay there again. It was close to almost everything in Branson, but not a lot of traffic on the highway, and we booked several months in advance, so we got a very good deal.

“Terrible experience”

We stayed at the Branson towers this labor day weekend. On arrival, we got to our room and noticed an odor coming from it. Once inside we checked to find the odor. Some one had urinated on the bathroom floor. We called down to the desk, they sent up a maintenance man. He confirmed that indeed someone had urinated on the floor then brought us a luggage rack so that we could be moved to another room. Housekeeping was given the blame by the maintenance man, however, both my husband and I disagree. The room was not too bad and the bathroom had been stocked with the necessary items for the guests. We just don't know who had access to the room after the maid.
At no time did the management offer to talk to us about this.
Later that evening, I phoned the front desk to get info on how to hook up the their internet. The person at the desk was extremely rude.
The next day when housekeeping cleaned the room ( we made the beds and only needed fresh towels and some soap) There was no soap left for us or lotions.
The third day, we thought that we would sleep in a little later, but housekeeping had other ideas. The housekeeper continually bumped our door wtih the vacuum and as I peered out thru the peek hole, I watched her as she put her head up to the doors of the rooms across from ours!!
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR A VACATION STAY.

“Terrible!”

Branson Towers Hotel

3 Jul 2007

This is a terrible hotel. It is cheap but you get what you pay for definitely applies here. The hotel looks nice from the outside and inside the lobby but that is it. The hallway were our room was located was filled with cigarette smoke most of the time. Our room was adjacent to the indoor pool area and all we could hear was screaming from the pool which was packed. The room was very small with nothing but old paint on the wall and old dirty carpet on the floor. The beds are terrible. The internet access is a joke. The complimentary breakfast is almost nothing. I rather pay a few bucks more and get a lot more in return. Go to the Comfort Inn & Suites. We did and were much happier.

We originally were going to book this hotel on a website, but then called the hotel and ended up getting a lower rate from the front desk staff.

The location of the hotel was perfect, it is not on the strip, but less than 5 minutes drive there, and a few more minutes drive to just about all the attractions. The hotel check-in was swift and the staff was very friendly. The room was pretty standard, nothing fancy, but was clean and spacious. We chose this hotel originally because of the indoor pool, so that we could enjoy it after a day of running around.

About the only thing we were not too impressed with was their continental breakfast, which didn't have many things in it. Their restaurant buffet was much overpriced also.

I would recomment any friend to stay here, next time we visit, we will be back to this same hotel.

We went to Branson with some old friends of ours and their children. We stayed at the Branson Towers for three nights and had an enjoyable experience. The rooms were good sized for us-two adults and two children. Two queen beds. The room was VERY clean, no cigarette smell at all. Housekeeping did a great job in keeping it clean. The beds were comfortable too.
The only complaints I have is that the walls were very thin-could hear every toilet flush around us. Also-the hot tub was not hot and was an odd greenish color. But the pool was very nice. Continental breakfast was okay.
I would stay here again-good value for the money.
