This was once a very nice hotel. What happened? We checked in for one night only, and I am glad that it was only for one night! When we were there, so were the bugs. Yes, bugs! They were mainly in the bathroom, but who knows? Maybe we just didn't notice them elsewhere. The maids were very rude. They made comments softly, but audible if you didn't check out soon enough for them. We were promised a room with a refrigerator and microwave, but they were not in the room. To their credit, the management did bring us a refrigerator when we complained. That, however, was the only good thing that happened while we were in the Branson Towers hotel!

“STOP, think twice before staying here.”

Think twice before staying here. The walls were VERY THIN. We could hear the person in the next room coughing. The beds were unconfortable, pillows flimsey, and breakfast buffet cold and skimpy. The door to our room on the first floor did not fit properly, there was a crack at the top close to an inch wide. We could hear foot steps and people coming and going in the halls all night. We were booked there with a tour, so had no choice. Otherwise we would have moved after the first night. Spent 3 nights with very little sleep. There are so many hotels and motels in Branson to choose from. Most of them would probably be a better choice.

“Good Location”

Location was far enough off the strip to keep one out of traffic with a good map and some planning. We could not book the room with the hotel. With no rooms available we had to book through Branson Tourism. Only room available was smoking and we prefered non smoking. Room didn't smell too strong, but we brought our spray to keep the room fresh. Was disappointed in the deluxe continental breakfast. The restaurant has a menu but only the buffet was offered, another dissapointment. We did not try the seafood buffet, it was a bit overpriced. The evening paino and ice cream social was fun. Met a lot of nice people sitting around the fireplace.

“Perfect hotel: safe, clean, quite, and reasonable price”

Branson Towers Hotel

When booking a motel/hotel, I look for a safe, clean, quite, and reasonable price place to stay. The Branson Towers fulfilled this perfectly. I called the 1-800 number and spoke with Michel who was very pleasant and helpful, giving us an excellent rate of $48.95 (2 non-smoking double beds). My husband enjoyed talking with the piano player and the man who served ice each evening. We had no problems with our room: it was clean, the beds were comfortable, we asked for extra pillows and received them immediately, the bathroom was large, and the showers were great (water hot and soft), plenty of draw space, hanging space, sitting space, new carpet. The continental breakfast was standard; donuts, bagels, cereals, yogart, fruit, juice, milk, coffee, etc. This was our first time at the hotel and I thought we made a good decision. I especially choose this hotel because it was not on the "strip" but within a 5 minute drive to shopping, theatre, and restaurants. Recommed to all. We stayed Sept 20, 2006 thru Sept 25th

“Good and so-so”

Branson Towers Hotel

My family has stayed in Branson Towers twice this year (both times in the same room). The first time we were issued a smoking room though we are non-smokers. It was a booking problem with the service I used not the hotels fault. The room had just been redone and there was more of a paint smell than a smoke smell. The room was very clean. Shower water pressure was a bit low, but I like a shower that could double as a pressure sprayer so I could be biased. Staff was very nice. The pool was clean. We haven't eaten at the hotel so I can't comment on the food. All in All the first stay was very positive for the price. Location was out on the edge but it is very easy to get around from the location.
The second time we stayed there (about 6-8 weeks later) we were issued the same room (Travelocity only offers smoking rooms). The staff would have switched me to a non-smoking but none were available. This time the room reeked of stale smoke! The previous guests must have been chain smokers and never ventured outside. It got better through our stay. The room wasn't as clean as the first visit, at least my perception was that it wasn't, maybe do to the odor.
I would stay at this hotel again but I will not get a smoking room any more.
