We did a last-minute change in reservations on a trip to Louisiana. The first hotel we had booked online (Super 8 - Neosho, MO) could not find our reservations, so we had to do a quick scramble to find something that night which was the weekend prior to 4th of July. Everything seemed to be booked on our route.

We were finally able to secure a reservation at this hotel, and we were so happy with it! The staff was very friendly, the pool was nice, the beds were superiorly comfortable, great shower, and a great variety for the continental breakfast.

There were some teenagers (?) next door with voices that carried through the wall, but I turned the fan from "auto" to "on" and couldn't hear another thing. We slept very peacefully. We were so impressed with this hotel that we have reserved a room there for our return trip.

  • Liked — friendly staff, beautiful "Precious Moments" decor throughout
  • Disliked — can't think of anything

I wish I could give this hotel more than five stars.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in 5/07 after our wedding. We live locally and our home was full of family members. The front desk manager (I wish I could remember her name...arg!) is a wonderful person with excellent customer service skills. We booked this room in person months before our stay, and when we arrived, found that they upgraded us to a suite. The stay could not have been better.
Now for a second story...In December 2007, a horrible ice storm hit southwestern Missouri. Power was out to more than 60,000 homes/businesses for days at a time. Personally, our home was dark for 6.5 days. About 4 days into the power outage, and remembering the wonderful service at Precious Moments 6 months earlier, my wife and I called to see if we could rent a shower for the morning. The front desk manager (same woman, by the way) told us to come on over and use the shower in the exercise room for free. The hotel was totally booked, but they still were about to help us during a trying time.
This is a wonderful hotel full of wonderful people. Give them a try.

Probably the nicest Best Western I've stayed at. And one of the cheaper ones as well, so I was pleased with the value.

As one other reviewer commented, it can be a little hard to find. The hotel is not really visible from the highway and signage is limited. Know where you're going (road name and exit) before heading there. There are some billboards during the day that give a good idea, but they aren't lit at night and it can be a little tough finding your way back if you don't know exactly where you are.

Very pretty lobby.... though a little on the cutesie side with the Precious Moments stuff... but that IS the point of the place after all. The breakfast was nice and the staff was pleasant. Rooms are of a good size and are clean. Very comfortable bed. Several places to eat are convenient as is a new Wal-Mart if you need to pick up something.

  • Liked — Really good value.
  • Disliked — hallways were a bit stuffy and in need of more ventilation

Clean room, free breakfast, and indoor pool - that's what makes our family happy. Hot water for showers would be nice, but we were told the maintenance staff just checked it and it was working properly - probably just out due to the large crowd of teens staying there. But, the hot water was absent morning and night - so I feel like I got the brush off. The pool is open late, good for late arrivals. The staff calmed the noisy after-pool closing teen crowd pretty quickly, too. For shopping, there is a 24 hour Super Wal-Mart nearby and Quiznos and more fast food joints are close.

  • Liked — pool
  • Disliked — lack of hot water

This hotel was pleasant enough, although nothing out of the ordinary. The pool area was somewhat gloomy and dark, and the water chillier than at most hotels (children were okay with that though). The room was average, with no extras, although clean enough. The breakfast was great - quite a nice selection.
