I will preface this by saying that we did not book in advance and might have been able to get a better rate that way. We arrived in Bozeman, MT late at night without a hotel reservation and tried a couple of places that were out of our price range or had no vacancy. I called ahead to the Super 8 in Belgrade (we had seen signs on the highway) figuring that Super 8 is a budget chain. The price was lower than the hotels in Bozeman, but still more than I expected to pay to stay in a Super 8. The desk clerk was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our room was large and clean, but did have a funky, musty odor. The lobby was well-maintained and the free breakfast was the kind of continental fare most budget hotels offer (toast, cereal, juice, coffee). There was a designated breakfast area that was fairly crowded, so we took ours out in the sitting area by the fireplace (a much nicer option). Overall we enjoyed our stay but were surprised by how much hotels in the Bozeman/Belgrade area were charging. If you are on a budget, it would probably be best to book ahead or to try and get farther from Bozeman to find a hotel.

Thank you for your review and I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us. While all hotel/motel prices tend to be higher in this area during the busy summer months, we do all we can to keep our prices competitive. Making advance reservations is always the best option to get the lowest possible rate and to ensure room availability.
