We stayed two nights at the Comfort Inn at Red Lodge. The room was clean, but there is not enough room for you and the suitcases. You have to sit on the bed for the other person to walk by you. The price is definately too high for the room. Breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about. The downtown area is trying very hard to appeal to tourists and it does have
a few interests and the casino across the street is not one of them.
The biggest interest is route to Beartooth Pass. That is something everyone will enjoy. The beauty of it is in the seeing.
Pictures and words cannot describe it. We had a very upsetting
day getting back to Red Lodge after sightseeing all day. There
is road construction on the road to Belfrey which leads to Red
Lodge and I could not believe they kept it open to traffic when heady equipment was moving along side your car. The wait
was almost an hour and the windows could not be open on account of bees. So Beware.
