Loved this hotel! It was so clean and the staff is really friendly..The breakfast was good. Make the trip over the Beartooth Pass, it is amazing. Very nice town, beautiful stores in Red Lodge.

We stayed at this hotel on 6/27/07, and were very pleased with almost everything about the place.

Our first impression was excellent, as the front desk clerk was super friendly and fresh cookies were provided in the lobby at check-in. The lobby furniture appeared new and everything very clean. The hall carpet was freshly vaccumed and appeared to be new. Our room was very clean.

The bed was very comfortable and the A/C quiet making for a good night's sleep. The vanity was separate from the bathroom (tub/toilet) which is nice when there are two people in the room. Also, a refrigerator and mocrowave in the room was covenient.

The only negative thing I could say about the hotel is that the room itself was a little on the small side. But in a place like Red Lodge, Montana you don't spend much time in your room.

This Comfort Inn had very tiny rooms. I was surprised at the small size, given the inflated price of 140.....I can get a hotel room in Washington DC for that! I had stayed at a CI in Bozeman and the rooms were really big and the the cost was 98. The breakfast was good because they had eggs and bagels available, not just the standard sweet stuff. I was dissappointed that no one offered to help me lug a huge suit case up the steps, there is no elevator. Good service at the front desk, and in-room coffee. One oddity, no fridge. Super8s have fridge, microwave, in-room coffee, and cost less, I might stick with them from now on.

I have stayed here several times since the motel opened. I keep coming back because of the friendly and curteous staff, the clean and quiet rooms, the continental breakfast and location relative to Bear Tooth Pass. They keep four clocks in the dining area, one for each US time zone. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the night clerk had labeled the Central Time Zone clock as "Time in Champlin, MN" - my home town. I complimented the clerk on her "nice touch". Will definitely stay here again and again.
