“Great service & location!”

Harrah's Las Vegas Casino & Hotel

Great service and location at Harrahs. Came in early Sat morn & they gave us a room right away about 10am. Front desk very nice & all workers we encountered the same.
Rooms very clean & better than expected considering an older hotel. View was of parking garage but no biggy since you are hardly in there. Only had Starbucks at hotel- so can’t comment on other restaurants. McDonalds, Pizza, Chipotle right next door for a quick bite. Pool is very small-that is the only negative.
Sister stayed at Venentian- loved that hotel but its almost too big to just run up to your room- but it does have everything you need & the Canal Shoppes are great. The rooms are all suite & very spacious.
Went to Kokomo Restaurant at the Mirage- or attempted too. Sat down but were totally ignored by waiter so just had wine & left. With prices like that they should be treating you better or atleast acknowledge you. So ended up at the Italian Rest there which was very good esp their bread with olive oil/balsamic/garlic dipping. Went to PF Changs off strip & had the best service ever. Also ate at PARIS at the Burger Place which was yummy & great service too. I would like to stay next time at Paris- good size & nice casino area & shops. Went to the top of the Eiffel Tower which was kinda scary going up on the elevator but great views of the strip. We had to come right down due to lightening storm approaching but they gave us vouchers.
Saw Cirque du Soleil MYSTERE at Mirage which was better than I expected. Hard to explain – just something neat for all ages. I would go to another show like O or Ka the water ones.
Great getaway in Vegas!

Had 4 nights comped during a 10-day stay in Las Vegas. Harrah's has an excellent location on the strip -- convenient for walking and riding monorail and catching the Deuce.

Did not think a comped room would be as nice as it was. It was also very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room was located in the Carnival Tower, high floor, not too far from elevators.

Loved the atmosphere in the casino slots areas as well as the keno area. Didn't win but still had fun.

"Flavors, The Buffet" was very good with very prompt seating. Breakfast at the "Cafe at Harrahs" was good; however seating is very very slow.

All staff in casino and food areas were very customer focused. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed five nights at Harrah's the 2nd week in July. Our checkin at 4 pm on Saturday was quick and the staff very pleasant. Our room in the Carnival Tower was clean and quiet - no view, but we can't complain because our room was comped. We tried Toby Keith's restaurant - it was ok, the breakfast buffet was good - dinner buffet was only o.k. The slot machines at Harrah's were very very tight - never saw anyone win anything over $400. My husband and I both hit jackpots at Imperial Palace and then I hit the big jackpot at MGM. Also, I had good luck on the slots at Paris, hitting a couple of times for $800 and $700. I recommend Harrah's for hotel room, other casinos for gambling. I would definitely stay at Harrah's again!

“Perfect for exploring the Strip”

We stayed here in July 2007 for five nights.

Harrah's was recommended to us by friends who live in Los Angeles, and who visit Las Vegas on a regular basis.

It's perfect location in the centre of the Strip should in theory mean you'll be paying considerably more for a room per night, but unlike the majority of hotel casinos nearby like Bellagio, Caesar's Palace and The Venetian, you're not.

A lot is made of star ratings for hotels in Vegas. Caesar's Palace is rated as 5+ star, and personally I'd say it was higher. Harrah's thought is accurately rated as 4 star.
The hotel is clean and tidy. The rooms are ample in size and we heard no noise from any adjacent rooms throughout our stay.
We had a king size bed, large CRT TV, adequate bathroom with hair dryer but the air con was set so you couldn't adjust it.
Maid service was once a day. Our bed was made with fresh sheets, bins emptied, bathroom cleaned and towels replaced.

Also included was a mini bar - WARNING : Don't under any circumstances be tempted to open it. The stuff inside costs a fortune and if removed (even if not used and subsequently replaced) is automatically billed to your room.

The guys manning the check in and out desks were prompt and curteous.

The interior decor of the casino was perfectly fine. Not as lavish as the other bigger casinos, but when in Vegas you'll probably find you'll move from one casino to another.

During our stay we tried the hotel buffey. Fair price, good selection, the quality of the food was great and free refills of soft drinks - can't fault it.

On the whole I would definately recommend this hotel if you are looking for a centrally located base of operations, arn't looking for too many frills and are on a budget.

We have been to Las Vegas several times since 2001 and have stayed at many different hotels. This is the second time we have stayed at Harrah's. The rooms as always were very clean. The view wasn't the best. The casino is large enough that you don't have to spend to much time looking for a machine or table to play on. What was the best part of staying at Harrah's was the outstanding service. From the room cleaning staff to the casino floor, we were treated like the staff appretaited that we chose their hotel to stay in. We are going back again in September, and we had a choice of many hotels, which were all comped. The chioce was simple. We chose Harrah's.
