My stay at Harrah's was from June 7-10. I was given a room on the 16th floor although my reservation had requested a room on a lower floor. On June 8 it was necessary for me to speak to management before I received an extra pillow. One day before departure a soiled pillowcase was left on top of my cosmetics in the bathroom. Although the location of the hotel is good, security was not visible. On several nights I observed young men loitering near the elevators.

My girlfriend I and stood at Harrah’s from June 7th till the 11th for a quick getaway and some fun in the sun. At Harrah's you get pretty much what you pay for an average hotel at a very good price 40 US a night. There are some pretty good things about staying at Harrah’s for one the location is amazing, Harrah’s is pretty much center strip so if you want to go on the gondolas in the venetian or see the fountains of the Bellagio it’s all a short walk or a monorail stop away. Secondly contrarily to what people say I felt the prices at the restaurants were pretty reasonable. We ate at Toby’s on two occasions and our meals as well as our drinks came out to 35 dollars or less on both occasions, “12 dollars for two pitchers of beers is a great deal for all you drinkers out there” Check in was a breeze we arrived at 10am and our room was ready for us and we got free coupons to see Mac king “with purchase of drink at show”. The rooms are pretty small true but you’re in Vegas there is no need to stay in the room for long periods of time.
Now for the bad, the pool is terrible. They are definitely going to have to close the pool soon and change the lining on the floor it’s lumpy and falling apart and to top it off the pool area is extremely dirty. We stayed there for four nights and went to the pool every day to tan and there was a bloody bandage right next to the steps of the pool from the day we checked in till the day we left. Also we went to use the Jacuzzi at nine thirty am one day only to find that there were cups and beer bottles still laying around it from the night before pretty gross. The room we were staying in seemed to lack any plugs so if you wanted to charge your cell phone you would have to either unplug something or charge it in the bathroom.
For all those who have already booked a room at Harrah’s beware check your credit card statements while you are there. Harrah’s ask for a deposit when checking for room service and incidentals the receptionist will say you can either give her two hundred dollars in cash for this or your credit card will be charged one hundred dollars a day on incidentals, which the hotel will hold until you check out. Needless to say we gave them cash only to find out two days later that they were taking money out of my card anyway, I had to go downstairs and speak to a supervisor twice before they fixed this needless to say it was a big headache. Overall the hotel is average I would say above average if it weren’t for the terrible pool area.

No coffee pot in room, would have been nice, (stayed last time a Planet Hollywood, same thing no coffee pot), would be nice if one was provided.

Left time for cleaning lady, but had to keep asking for her to leave conditioner, if didn't would replace used one.

Cocktail waitresses seems in all of the casinos, were very rare, but noticed that at the tables there was always one there, machine players spend just as much as table players would have been nice to see more cocktail waitresses.

Overall the hotel reception was very helpfull with our questions we had.

My husband and I stayed at Harrah's for 6 nights from June 9th thru the 15th. We stayed in the Mardi Gras Tower, which was clean but very small. Upon arrival we updated to a newly-remodeled room, flat panel TV, nice bedding and a safe. We got a view of the air conditioning unit and a brick wall. I was really surprised to see that there was no dresser space, and the only drawers in the room for storage was the two bed-side night stands and a tiny set of drawers in the closet. The bathroom was nice, and there is a flat panel TV in there, but who needs that ammenity in Vegas? You were in the bathroom no longer that you needed to be, due to the loud noise that the vents made when you turned on the bathroom lights.
This was our 5th trip to Vegas in 4 years. We love the city and have been to some really nice hotels. We will definately not be staying at the Harrah's in the future.

My husband and I stayed here June 9-13th. This hotel is average at best. Stayed in the Mardi Gras tower on 14th floor. Very clean, but very small. Bare bones.. This hotel was extremely crowded and noisy too. The carnival court offers nothing but LOUD music. Found it miserable to even sit out there and sadly that is the only place you can sit outside other than the pool area which is not even good enough to call BLAH. I could have picked Flamingo for the same price. Having seen Flamingo I can tell you I made a huge mistake.. The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the location. It's in the middle of everything. If you just want a place to lay your head, this would be an ok choice.
