After a stormy drive across the desert, my husband and I checked into the Vdara then decided to get a quick bite to eat at the Aria hotel. My husband wanted Thai food, so we made the short walk over to Lemongrass. Even though it was after 10 o'clock at night, the restaurant was packed. While it looked like dinner service was pretty much over at many other restaurants, Lemongrass was still going strong. We were seated quickly, and the wait staff brought us drinks and took our order. The food was fresh and flavorful. The portions were more generous than I expected, and I thought they used interesting ingredients; for example, their version of pad see ew had crisp asparagus with the flat noodles. The tables in the section where we were sitting were close together, bistro style, so I noticed that many of my neighbors had ordered dishes with big, plump shrimp. While overall the food, such as the green curry, wasn't very spicy, the Thai chili fish sauce was hot, hot, hot! Yum. If you are in the City Center and are looking for Thai food, I would definitely recommend Lemongrass.
