If you're going to Vegas for the first time, I highly recommend this buffet due to its perfect ambience. You feel like you're really in France! And most of the dishes are actually french. But if your priority for buffet selection is diversified choices of dishes from all over the world, and from about the same price, go to Spice Market buffet at PH or to the Bellagio buffet. You'll get better value for your money. If you want real value without compromising quality/selection, then go to South Point's buffet or Main Street Station's. Both are very good and under $10 for BF and lunch. We've tried 8 buffets in one week from Jan. 5-12. In terms of overall selction/quality, value, ambiance & service, here's how I rank them:
1. Spice Market buffet at PH
2. Wynn buffet
3. Main Street Station
4. Bellagio
5. South Point
6. Paris buffet
7. Flamingo
8. Orleans buffet
Believe me, these are all very good buffets, some are just slightly better than others. I must say that the gap between 1-6 (PH and Paris)is smaller than between the 6 & 8 (Paris and Orleans). That's how tight the competition is at the top tier level! Orleans buffet is kind of dissapointing considering all the positive reviews I've read on this site. Selection not as varied. Same with Flamingo, but that was expected. Overall, can't go wrong with the top six! Just depends on what you value most in a buffet (ambience=paris, selection=PH & Bellagio, combination of ambience, quality, and if you're willing to pay more=Wynn, value without compromising quality/selection=South Point & MSS).
