“Phenomenal! Worth the Money”

My husband has seen Phantom in NYC, but this was the first time for me. The Venetian was beautiful and was decorated for the era. The music was wonderful, the special effects and sets were gorgeous, costumes were beautiful and the show was fantastic. I sew as a hobby and my eyes just kept wandering (before the show started) to the opulent fabrics, drapes and curtains. You can see where all the money was spent at the Venetian. I would have to say that the actors/singers were very good. Were they the best singers I've ever heard? No, but the main characters voices were very good and stayed constant throughout the show. Our seats were on the main floor about 12 rows back and had a very good view. My husband normally likes the first 2 row for show, but I am so glad they were sold out. I don't think you would have been able to see as much, so close to the stage. Even several rows back, we still had to look a few times to see what was going on. I think from my view, getting a balcony seat would probably be great for this particular show. I was initially hesitant about spending so much money (over $100 per person), but it was well worth it and I would gladly see it again. If you only see one show in Vegas, I would highly recommend this one or Mystere.

I saw this show with my mum for her 70th birthday on 18th September. It was amazing. The affects were spectaculor and the show was brilliant. I would recommend this show to anyone. My only tip is take a cardigan or jacket with you as the theatre gets very very cold.

My husband and I went to see Phantom at the Venetian in Las Vegas and what a show! I've seen the original twice and was not disappointed at all. The theater was amazing....built just for this show! It is only an hour and a half but it seems as though they leave nothing out. My husband has never seen the show before but can't wait to go back and see it again. We had seats higher up but we enjoyed them because you really got the whole view of the theater and the experience. This was the best part of our trip to Vegas and would highly recommend the show!!!

I've seen Phantom twice on stage. This production was amazing. I would go back to Vegas again just to see this performance. You can get discount tickets online ahead of time. We sat in the second row. I would sit back a little further next time because of all the special effects. You have to go see this show if you're in Vegas!!! It's worth every penny.

We had front row orchestra seats for Phantom on August 18. We were very impressed with the theater but found the actual show to be somewhat of a disappointment. We had previously seen the show on Broadway and felt that the singing ability of the leads in this production was simply not of the same caliber. We did not have a problem with the abbreviated version. The music is still great and we enjoyed the show in spite of the lesser abilities of the cast.
A previous reviewer that complained of not being able to see the faces of the cast does not know how lucky he was. On Raul’s opening number he was on a balcony right above us and you couldn’t help noticing a big bulge over his eye as he sang. It turned out to be some form of body mutilation whereby something similar to a golf tee was pushed under his skin just above the eyebrow. As the show progressed it was also apparent that Christine, Andre, Phantom and a few others had similarly mutilated themselves around the area of the forehead. I found these disfigurements to be distracting and not in keeping with the duty of the performers to properly portray their characters (except of course the Phantom – he at least is supposed to be disfigured).
