For our first ever Vegas visit last weekend, after much planning and research we ended up choosing the Palazzo Hotel as our spot....we were traveling with children...(i know...not great but we were going for a wedding...)so we decided to upgrade to Palazzo's Prestige rooms.
This turned out to be a great decision and i could not recommend it more!
First of all it is important to note that the Prestige lounge and check in area is located on its own floor (23) but this floor has no rooms...so i think your room is the same as others, but you don't have the hassle of checking in and out downstairs in the main lobby,the service is impeccable, AND they offer complimentary breakfast, high tea and snack+ open bar from 5pm-8pm in the lounge every night. To my knowledge none of the Vegas hotels offer breakfast-so unless you are happy finding a restaurant early in the morning the Prestige option is a great one!
Another great bonus was that every evening at 5pm they had guest chefs from the downstairs top notch restaurants in the lounge cooking up a storm, so we could take the kids down and get them some amazing pasta etc. for no extra cost before going out-so we didnt have to worry about when dinner would be or what restaurant would have child menus...it really worked, and it is slot free and quiet! you also get access to the private pool area, which i am sure is worth while if you are there to party!
The rooms are really great, very spacious and lavish. we stayed on the 25 floor, it was quiet and although we didn't get a strip view unfortunately-the golf course view was unexpectedly pleasant.
I am not planning another Vegas trip for the next decade or so.....but won't hesitate recommending the Palazzo to anyone who is planning a trip.
go for the Prestige option, all rooms are great!
