This superb hotel is set in the heart of the buzz of Las Vegas. We have stayed in various hotels in Las Vegas over the past years but this was the best.
Although this is a huge hotel catering for the masses, the staff looked after individual needs with care and attention. We were made to feel welcome and important to the staff on arrival. The reception was excellent - normally one has to queue for quite a while to even register in a LV hotel. We were greeted charmingly on arrival by a hostess who immediatly got us registered by the receptionist. The man who delivered our baggage to our superb room could not have been more helpful.
We expected to queue for most things in the city as there are so many people but certainly at the Bellagio the queuing was minimal.
Of course the hotel itself is spectacular with a wonderful interior ground floor including what must be the biggest chocolate fountain in the country! The exterior features a spectacular fountain display to music every 30 minutes.
Definetly a hotel to recommend.

“Bellagio - NO!”

I booked one King Lakeview and one Queen Lakeview 3 months in advance. When we
arrived for check-in at 2:30 pm - no Queen Lake views were available. They
offered us a King with a rollaway, but no one wanted to sleep on a cot at the
Bellagio, so they settled for a poolside Queen and the woman at the desk offered
a 50 dollar refund - which was brought the room back to it's original price.
Big whoop!

I had also asked for the Queen room to be close to the elevator for an 80 year
old and the room we got was about as far from the elevator as you could get.

If you want to be guaranteed a certain type of room - book elsewhere. They take
your request and ignore them.

I really felt like I was being herded around like sheep.

The rooms are really nothing special, however, the bathrooms are quite lovely.
The only thing that was special was the view from the King room - and you can
get a good view at other hotels. I personally would never return to this hotel.

Also, the room had 3 lightbulbs that did not work - and the table was so dusty I dusted it myself! Not what I expect at a Hotel of this type!

“mediocre and dated”

Bellagio

We went to Vegas for 5 days vacation in early April. We stayed at Wynn for the first two nights and spent the rest of nights at Bellagio. Bellagio is a fabulous place except the room we stayed. I booked room more than one month before our arrival and called them many times but still was not able to get a lake view room. The room we had was in the old tower, small, pretty mediocre and dated. And found dust on the headboard, lamp and other furniture.... just can’t compare to the room we stayed at Wynn which was spacious, clean, very modern deco and well maintained. We wish we could spend all our nights at Wynn. The only thing I can think which makes it comparable to Wynn is its location. I must admit that Bellagio has a better, more convenient location since it is right on the middle of Strip at the moment.

“Loved the Bellagio”

It was a dream to stay in the Bellagio, all that was missing was George clooney!

The rooms were lovely as were the staff. Expensive to eat compared to some of the other hotels but when you saw what they looked like inside we were happy to pay bellagio prices.

Pool area was clean and drinking fabulous cocktails added to the ambience of being in the Bellagio. The waitresses in swimsuits helped cheer up my partner!

Maybe not as classy as I thought it would be but for a couple that are not affluent we could pretend to live the highlife without breaking the bank. I hear the Wynn is better but for us the Bellagio had all the magic we had read about and seen on the tv.

After an 11 hour flight with Maxjet from the U.K. we were picked up from the airport in a stretch limo and taken to the Bellagio happy to say no queue at check-in, we were given a room on 27th floor overlooking the swimming pools, great view room was big and very clean, bathroom was very big and beautiful, great size shower, but not very powerful, maid service very good. bed was very comfortable.
Swimming pools were lovely 5 in total plus jacuzzi's very pleasant gardens, pool staff very good.
Overall great stay, everyone was very helpful, food was very good,
ate in Cafe Bellagio & Buffet for breakfast, Fix for dinner all very good. snacks from Palio, Jean Phillipe, Gelato Ice Cream lovely,
Went to see O which was brilliant, went on the Grand Canyon helicopter sunset tour with Maverick fantastic. Went up the Eiffel Tower to video the Bellagio fountains they are amazing.
Did lots of shopping good Juciy Corture shop at the forum, had great meals at CC steakhouse great steak, Cheesecake factory at the forum shops, Wolfgang Puck's Postrio at the Venetian very good, great buffet at the Wynn.
Did some gambling came home even, not bad. great flight home with Maxjet..
