My boyfriend and I stayed at Circus Circus in September of 2004. When we arrived it was VERY crowded. Also, the employees there are very rude. Actually all of Vegas was rude, but these employees the most. Overall, the hotel was ok, if you have kids. If you do not, go elsewhere. I never thought a hotel appearance would mean so much to me (especially in vegas my motto was that we wouldn't be spending too much time in the hotel anyways) however I will never stay there again. Rude staff, boring pool environment. Not a place for young people.

My husband and I stayed at the CC 12/6/2004-12/10/2004. The lobby was dirty and the staff very unpleasant. You have to go through a maze to get anywhere. Our room smelled like mold and the beds were hard as a rock. When we went to pay for a movie and we got the wrong one When we called down to the lobby the girl said "you bought it" and hung up. Next time we will stay somewhere else.

My wife and I have stayed at circus circus for the last five years.
This year2005 was the pits. The mattress in our room was lumpy, and you could feel the springs
Most of the staff couldnt speak enough english to answer any questions or help you in any way.
Slot attendents were terrible I waited 30 minutes for change for a !00$ bill, and 20 min for a machine fill.
In general circus circus didnt care when I mentioned these things to them
most of the staff had the personality of a coiled rattlesnake.

We stayed at Circus Circus for 4 nights whilst on a 2 week driving tour around California, Nevada & Arizona. We found the hotel was fine, the room was clean & spacious, and staff were friendly enough. We ate at the Pink Pony and also the Buffet, both of which were good value for money and the food was ok.
I would definitey recommend a trip to the award winning Steak House at Circus Circus when you visit Vegas. The food here was fantastic. We are visiting another hotel in Vegas in June 2005, and will definitely be eating at the Circus Circus Steak House!
The only downside we found to this hotel was the location on the strip, it's a good walk to the central hotels, but you can always use the shuttle buses to get around.
It may not be as fancy as some of the newer hotels on the strip, but in a place that never sleeps you only want somewhere to get your head down every now & then for a reasonable price!
