This hotel is like an airport, full of people moving from one place to the other. Zero glamour or casino feeling, seems more like an cheap summer vacation club. The rooms are OK but not what you would expect from a 4*, same for the treatment. Better pay a bit more and go to Cesars Palace, Bellagio, etc

The first night we stayed in a regular room with their summer splash rate of $89 per night. There were a bunch of noises kids next to us so I went to the front desk and asked if we could move to the West Wing. They moved us there no problem. The even numbered rooms were facing back/dumpster area, so every morning had to hear the garbage trucks (we were staying on the 11th floor).

The beds in both rooms were awesome! I did like the duvet in the regular rooms better though. The West Wing room was very modern looking and I loved that there weren't any little brats running around (not allowed).

The pool was amazing! We went to walgreens and bought a little cooler and went near the hotel to buy a bunch of plastic bottle beers and brought them to the pool. If was much cheaper that way as drinks were up to $14 at the pool bar.

I would definitely stay here again, it was great.

Went to MGM Grand Aug 22 to 28th and was disappointed in the hotel. Our room was dirty and a LONG walk from anywhere!! Even the ice machine was down another hallway. Our airconditioner broke in the middle of the nite and it was a pain to get it fixed. My biggest disappointment was the lazy river--it was $16 to rent a tube per person and $25 for an umbrella!!!!!!!!!! My kids were disappointed to say the least (so bring your own if you dare-they tell you not to bring your own flotation devices). My other biggest disappointment was the bachelorette parties in the pool area...one girl's drink was shaped like a man's #@$# and a lot of raunchy behaviour took place that was TOTALLY inappropriate in front of children..when I talked to the lifeguard he just shrugged his shoulders. Other girls kept flashing their boobs at anyone that would look. I am not a prude but there were many children around and it was in the afternoon. Wouldn't go back with kids even if it was free!!!!!!!!!!!!! $4.50 USD bottles of water by the pool were just ridiculous too!!!! Bring large mugs and fill them with ice and purchased water from walgreens!!!

just came back from a friends wedding in vegas. southwest offered a package deal which was great.
looked at pics of the rooms on the MGM web site. the new west wing was touted to be contemporary and the larger rooms at the MGM. we had stayed at the older wing last time and decided ( wrongly ) to stay at the new west wing.
we were shocked when we saw the room. tiny and poor;y lit!!! i could not even satisfactorily visualise my face in the bathroom mirror while shaving! a small window with minimal natural light in the room. in short --the room looks NOTHING like the pic. on the web site.
i must though that the staff service at all levels of the MGM was superb! they tried hard to upgrade us to the signature suites ( none available )--which are very comfortable --the rest of the wedding party stayed here.
i would avoid the west wing and stay either in the older wing of the hotel or at the signature suites.

I went to Vegas with 3 girlfriends and stayed at the MGM Grand. The hotel is massive and has everything you want in one place. You don't ever have to leave if you don't want! The restaurants are good, the pools are very nice and the clubs are really fun.
