We started our stay by going and dropping off our luggage into our horrid hotel room at Primm Valley Casino and then by going to Tony Romas for a late lunch. The food was excellent and for Primm staff they were pretty good! Then we played a few hours, went to the Smokey Robinson concert (which was amazing) then headed over to Whiskey Petes for a late dinner. We went to their new coffee shop so it was freezing in there, the service was horrible which is to be expected in Primm so that was fine, but every person in our party got sick after dinner! We headed back to Primm Valley to use the restroom in our hotel room, but it wasn't bolted down! We were on the floor below the casino we were later told the pet friendly floor. There was construction going on it was a huge mess, dead bugs all in the hallway the outside doors were left wide open the entire day and they were still open when we returned to our rooms at one am! Our electric sockets were exposed with no covers, the lotion and shampoo had been previously used. Since our host booked our room in advanced and we are such huge players we never thought we'd have to be treated like this. We walked the 1/4 mile back to the front desk (as our room was down this long nasty hallway) to ask if there was anything else they could put us in, we had to use the restroom and we just wanted a clean place to stay. We were willing to wall all the way back to our room, grab our stuff and walk wherever else they would put us. They did not move us and insured us they had nothing to do with it and that a guest opened the door even though this was inaccurate since they had proper door stops and the maintenance staff opened them earlier that day and never closed them. We went back to our rooms and thought well, we have to try to sleep here. We get back to our room we find bugs in our room, we kill them. We go to pull the comforter off the bed as we never use those when we do we find clothes tags on the bed, trash and an blanket that was crunchy and had been ate through by something. A rat or something ate through the blanket and there were little pieces of it around the bed. (I will attach a photo) We decided that since we couldn't use the toilet, or now the beds, and since we didn't feel safe sleeping next to two huge open doors leading to the outside we'd just have to grab our bags and leave. At two am we had to leave. The front desk employee said sorry I can't and don't know what to do. Our answer, "We are in the same kind of business you are, if we had a guest mention any of those issues we'd walk down, check them out ourselves we wouldn't tell the guest "that's not true that didn't happen" we'd go look and then assist the situation. She said she hasn't ever been down there never saw the construction, filth and open doors. I know they broke every code or standard possible. Not only that we called their operator twice during our stay the first time was to ask if they had a business center I was told "I don't know what that is" and was then transferred to Chevron's gas station. Then we called to ask how late the bus shuttle service ran, we were transferred to the reservations automated system. Then I called back and got operator Kim again, I said Kim, please do not transfer me to reservations what time does the bus shuttle service end "ok what bus are you even talking about" I explained she said, "oh I guess 2 am thank you bye" and then hung up. We waited for the bus and the driver told us they ran 24hours. I will load pictures from our walk to our room down the broken stair case with a lose stair rail and the bedding that had been chewed through by a rodent.

The bad reviews on this site are 100% true. We booked Thur-Sat. Only 2 rest open for service. Pool was closed. Asked for a room with a view (staff parking lot). The outside noise was terrible. We both agreed this is the worst trip we have taken in 10yrs. The food was ok. The buffet finally opened on Friday, the food was good, dessert I would pass on, the muffins and cakes were hard on the outside, we didn't bother. Come Sat at check out the pool was open! All restraunts were open. If the place is not running 100% during the week it should be noted.

Based on previous reviews we were a bit nervous about staying at Primm Valley, but we had decided to only drive so many hours in one day on our road trip, and that's where miles and hours put us. We thought for one night, it can't be that bad.

OH MY GOSH...we had the most excellent experience!! Our room was beautiful, clean and quiet. We both said that if we weren't on our way to California for a wedding, we would have stayed there another night or two. We had the King Jacuzzi Suite...worth every penny! And the staff were all terrific.

Our only con: like I said, we were on a road trip, and we were hungry. So we opted to eat at the buffet. MISTAKE. The meats at the carving station were over cooked and dry, the vegetables were cooked to mush, and the dessert station left something to be desired.

It was night when we arrived, but we strolled around a bit, and it looks like there is A LOT to do around this entire property, and there is a monorail that connects the three properties. The pool area at Primm looked beautiful.

We'd say: Don't pass this up...we plan on going back just for a get-a-way

Stayed here this past week end . Nice time BUT not a nice hotel . Needs updating in the worst way .. Rooms . floors . walls all squeck . The people above us walked from one end of room to the other 20 times one night around 4am .. we stayed here because of a concert we were seeing . It was nice for that reason BUT for the price I's rather drive the 40 minutes into Las Vegas

My wife & I stayed for a hotel/golf/shopping trip. The room was ok, especially if you enjoy hearing every word said in the rooms above, below and beside you. Our major problem is that they double charged our credit card when we made the reservation and make it very difficult to get your money back. So charge at your own risk.
