“A Real Home From Home”

We arrived to a very warm welcome from Dick and Sally (and Henry - the family pet English sheep dog).
Our room far exceeded our expectations in this delightful home. The setting was perfection. The breakfasts were 5 star every morning. Dick and Sally were extremely helpful in helping us plan our days to make the most of our 3 nights stay. which sadly was far too short. We would love to return some time in the winter to experience the snow. We fully recommend a stay at this superb B & B.

We have just returned from our 1st stay at this inn and I must say that all the reviews are correct.Sally & Dick are wonderful host and make you feel right at home.I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone and we cannot wait to get back.

We are travellers from Germany and this was one of the best experiences we ever had in the USA. The rooms are very clean and nice. Breakfast is fantastic. Dick and Sally are very helpful and to have Henry and Lulu around is fantastic. We will be back for sure!

“What a great place to stay 5 star at least”

We feel so lucky to have found this great Inn which lies in such an idyllic setting. The warm welcome from Dick Sally and of course Henry (the Old English sheepdog) made us feel that we had arrived at friends house more than a hotel. Our four day stay was all too short and look forward to returning to Carter Notch Inn many times in the future

It was great to see Sally and Dick again. Breakfasts are fab, the rooms are great and Henry will give you a welcome. The snow is amazing; we built a snowman, threw snowballs and went skiing at Black Mountain which is about 5 mins away. When you have been out you always come back to a roaring fire. In the summer you can take a walk on the golf course across the road. North Conway is 15-20 mins away if you want to go shopping. The rooms are beautifully kept and presented. It was really handy to find that each room had a hairdryer. I also love going in the hottub out on the balcony. Lulu is sweet as is Henry.
