Our overnight stay at Dana Place Inn gave us just what we were looking for: a beautiful location, with spacious grounds surrounded by gorgeous, forested mountain slopes, and an easy drive to Pinkham Notch trailhead for Mt. Washington hiking trails; a clean, comfortable, newly refurbished room with bath; excellent food, especially the gourmet-quality dinner; and a staff of friendly, helpful people, from Richard the Innkeepker to Robin the desk clerk to the folks keeping the place clean and neat. For a few days rest or a homebase, this place is entirely worth its price.

We stayed at the Dana Place Inn recently and had a lovely time. The suite we had was charming. The staff was terrific. The food was great! Our children loved the location, with the river directly behind the hotel where one could easily go fishing.The hotel also had a very nice pool. Jackson was wonderful, with plenty to keep us busy. Overall, we would rate our stay as a very pleasant experience.

Our stay at the Dana Place Inn was a pleasant one. The staff was friendly and professional and the room comfortable. We had breakfast each morning and one dinner. The food was excellent and the service too. The dining room and the breakfast room were extremely appealing, especially in the morning when it was fun to watch the many birds at the feeder outside the window. The grounds are lovely with picnic tables, benches by the river, a walk through the woods to a clearing next to the river and a pool. All activities, such as hiking trails, the auto road to Mt. Washington and attractions for children are closeby. Good resaurants are to be found in Jackson, a short drive away. We won't hesitate to plan a future visit.

We had a family reunion at the Dana Place this past weekend and had a wonderful time!!!! The accomodations were lovely. The location was superb, from the sounds of the running river putting us to sleep at night, to the fishing, the wonderful walking paths, and of course the staff! We lacked for nothing... They outdid themselves for us this past weekend!!!! We even had the added pleasure of meeting our first "moose" a 1/4 mile up the road on our way back from a successful day of shopping at the outlets!!!!! We had a fantastic time and can't wait to come back next year for another family reunion!!!!!!!!!! Chris & Lindsay

“Fun and Relaxation”

Our 3 nights at the Dana Place Inn were fun and relaxing. Taking a walk along the trails behind the inn and listening to the running river. Our room was very comfortable along with a balony view. Breakfast was out of this world and the service was incredible. The innkeeper and his staff couldn't have been more pleasant. The ONLY NEGATIVE came when, it was time to leave. We would absolutely return.. G & B
