I spent 3 nights in July 05. The lobby has limited area/cluttered and it was difficult wheeling in my luggage up the flight of stairs to my 2nd floor room. The rate I had a rate ~$110 per night for a 2 queen size bed room.
The room size is somewhat small, particularly the vanity and shower area. The shower head is made for a 4 foot tall adult. The room had a small table and some chairs and tv. The linens and bed were gross- the bedsheets and mattress had stains on them.
The Eastern Inn offers a continental breakfast. The continental breakfast is served in their somewhat dark basement. The basement looks like a storage area converted over to an eating area. The continental breakfast fare is bland/limited- small ceral boxes, juice, coffee and english muffins/toast. There are signs everywhere warning you that no takeout of food is not permitted. Raisin bran and toast is very expensive these days I guess. After the first day, I started to have breakfast offsite anyways.
While the location of the Inn is convenient to Mt. Washington, and the various other tourist attractions in the North Conway area; there are lots of other hotels in N. Conway offering similar rates so I am going elsewhere next time.
