I held Workshops at the Merrill Farm for 4 consecutive years, We averaged about 15 participants with several people returning more than one year, and coming from as far away as CA, Seattle, WA, TX, NY, KY, PA and every state in New England. One year two folks came from Amsterdam,
As the organizer of the event, I received an overwhelming response of approval and complete satisfaction with the clean and charming accommodations, the friendly staff, our conference space (with big double doors opening out onto the Saco River behind the Inn and a huge, stone working fireplace adding a homey, comfy atmosphere) − not to mention the daily homemade muffins for breakfast ( healthy and varied every day!)and fresh chocolate chip muffins for afternoon break!
The sounds of the swiftly flowing river and early spring songbirds heard from the backside of the Inn inspired many of the folks to rise early and get out for a hike in the mountains or a short trip up the Kancamagus Highway to view the Great Falls before the days events began.
If you are looking for a and old fashioned, down-home, New England experience, this is the place to come! Take a look st he website.
I’m planning another course for the fall!
