I visited in June with a friend and it was just breathtakingly beautiful. We happened to visit on an overcast, drizzly day but the weather was actually a plus because there was hardly anyone else there. We felt like we had the place to ourselves. Now, although neither one of us is an athlete or anywhere near being in the "best shape of our lives" this is not for the faint of heart. You descend hundreds of steps down (and then back up) There are plenty of spots to stop and rest but this is NOT handicap accessible and I wouldn't reccomend for really small children, although 5 and up will love exploring the caves. We were definately winded at times but there is no rush. The scenery and waterfall is beautiful and the caves were fun for us 40 somethings too! It took us a little over an hour to do the entire loop. There are first aid backpacks at different points throughout. Definately wear comfy shoes.
