First night on our annual vacation, this is the MUST stop for dinner for us. This year was no different - and it was excellent. Yes the mozzarella salad was on special so that was an automatic. This year, tried the veal medallions and got a pleasant surprise. Not only were there three of them, but they were good sized, not like those silver dollar pancake sized things I've come to expect when I see the words "medallion". The wife's filet au poivre was done to perfection for her. This was the first time we actually went to the bar first and that was a nice surprise as well. We sat in the main room and we just think that the high ceiling with the ship decor add so much to the dining experience. Once again, a memorable time for our kick off dinner for our annual Cape May vacation.

Went here for the first time in 2005, and we have been hooked ever since. No trip to Cape May is complete without a meal at Oyster Bay. The atmosphere is comfortable, yet with a little fanciness. We feel like we're dining at a 5 star restaurant, but are able to wear comfortable shoes!

The food is out of his world. I am actually not a huge seafood fan (I know, I shouldn't even BE in Cape May if I don't eat seafood!) but the calamari is a MUST HAVE. If you go here and do not get the calamari, you are missing out. It is one of the only places that I will actually touch calamari, that's how good it is!

also, their non-seafood dishes are absolutely delicious! I had gotten a chicken and cavatelli dish in a pink cream sauce and it was awesome. My boyfriend always manages to get a seafood dish and raves about it. This time he got the chicken with the crabmeat and there was nothing left on his plate.

Also, the dessert was plated beautifully. I got a chocolate mousse cake and there were fresh berries on top. I was glad I had room for dessert!

Pricewise, it was about $70.00 for two people to eat with appetizers and drinks (non-alcohol). It's a little pricey, but well worth it!! Also, it's not a bad idea to make reservations. We were there on a Friday night before Memorial Day and the place was packed! enjoy!

My friends and I decided to give Oyster Bay a try a few Friday nights ago. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and seated in a dining room next to the bar. The room was decorated very nicely in a seashore theme. The martini's were awesome and the food was even better - large portions and cooked to perfection. The server on the other hand left a lot to be desired. He was unkept, obnoxious, loud and downright rude. I recommend you try Oyster Bay and hope you don't get this waiter.

My wife and I had a really nice dinner at Oyster Bay, which looks beautiful on the inside. Very wide-open with lots of windows near the ceiling along with the regular windows. There were all sorts of painting hanging around the restaurant that seemed to be for sale.

For dinner, I had a crabcake and filet which were both excellent and my wife had some other kind of seafood dish which she liked. Service was good and the prices were decent. It wasn't the best value in the world but not in any way exhorbitant either.

All in all, I'd return to Oyster Bay.
