On Thursday, May 25, 2006, My friend and I took a day trip on our motorcycles to Lambertville. As we approached the bridge to New Hope, we spotted the Lambertville Station Restaurant and realized that we were quite hungry, so we parked the bikes, and proceded to the outdoor dining area. Every Staff member treated us with utmost courtesy, and the food - from soup to dessert - was simply the best! I am looking forward to my next trip to Lambertville, so I might dine at the Lambertville Station Restaurant again.

If you are the least bit adventuresome and want to be ensured of a good meal and experience, try Lambertville Station Restaurant between January and March. That's when they feature their wild game menu with everything from ostrich to bear to kangaroo. All are exquisitely and creatively prepared (so much so that you forget you're eating wild game.)

If you can't make it between Jan. and March, their allligator chili is usually available year-round and just about dish you try will be good. They also have a very good wine list with some unique selections. The wait staff is excellent, and you couldn't ask for a better atmosphere.

We have had dinner at the Station in the past and were very pleased, but unfortunately this last dinner was very disappointing. To begin with when we ordered drinks and cocktails the waitress brought the salads before the drinks so we did not get a chance to enjoy our cocktails before the meal.
When the entree arrived the meat was cold and stringy, and the couple that ordered their meat well done it was pink in the middle.
I personaly was very dispointed, I had ordered the crab cake which were very good but my rice was not warm.
The waitress was very good but the fact that she was running up and down the stairs for the food and drinks I think that the whole system could be renovated to improve service. This was Saturday November 11, 2005.
Its a beautiful setting and hopefully things will improve.

I loved Lambertville Station, because it's in an old railroad station that is next to a railroad track. It's also across the Delaware River from New Hope, Pennsylvania. The waiters should be dressed up like porters, like the ones who call out "All Aboard!".
