We are bikers and have past this place numerous times as we live in the area. One night we finally got to stop in. They first sat us in a room that was chilly downstairs and after requesting a warmer table (I was really cold) they sat us upstairs near the window. It was much, much warmer and my impression of the place changed as they were accomodating. The food was good, certainly not the best I've had, but memorable. Our server was a little odd but he did his job and we weren't waiting. My dish, veal with crabmeat was much better than my husbands (filet mignon). The atmosphere, once moved to a new table, was really comfortable and quaint. The jazz bar downstairs had a strange crowd so we opted out. Overall good experience.
