My husband and I were in Ocean City from June 2-6 and had a wonderful time. Part of that had to do with Dixie Picnic. We didn't have to rush in the morning, and got a delicious breakfast not only once, but decided to go back again the next day. The restaurant is close to the boardwalk, parking was easy, and the staff was efficient and polite. It's located is a cute little house with comfortable seating and cinnamon buns that you'll want to take home. The owner is friendly and comes out to personally speak to you. Go, you'll enjoy it.

Every year my family rents a place in Ocean City. We eat out nearly every night. We were thrilled to see Dixie Picnic open. Our first night in town we ate there. Every one loved their meal. During the week we went there a few times and loved it. To take a break from the beach we spent the day at the Cape May Zoo. Rather than eating the greasy food they have to offer we picked up some boxed lunches, they were great. While we love the food in Ocean City it is great to see some thing new and original in town.

My family and I were there right before Memorial Day this year, and we absolutely loved it. I can still taste the orange butter french toast and the unbelievably seasoned home fries. This is a can't miss stop in Ocean City!

All I can say is...go there for lunch! The sandwiches are incredibly large for the price and high quality ingredients used. My mom and I purchased the boxed lunch day one and got the Thanksgiving sandwich plus one extra sandwich, the fruit salad, and a choc/choc upcake. The sandwich was INCREDIBLE! REAL TURKEY BREAST, house made rolls, stuffing, real cranberry sauce...the fruit salad was soggy, but the deviled egg was out of this world. As for the upcakes, they were all good (choc/choc, choc/ vanilla, vanilla/choc, vanilla/key lime), as was the potato salad and the Caesar salad we had on later trips
