On my first trip to dixie picnic i had a boxed lunch. I had no idea what a boxed lunch even was, well let me tell you it was the best sandwich i ever had and the upcake (upside down cupcake iced on all sides) was simply delicious. I also got a sticky bun to take home, i was expecting to be dissapointed since everthing else i had was so great. It was truly the BEST sticky bun i ever tasted. Better than Mallon's sticky buns. I just love this place. Excellent food and friendly staff.

Their food is as good as they say it is. Try it once and you'll be back. Service is courteous and friendly as well.

We ate here on our last morning in Ocean City. I wish we had discovered it before! As anyone who has been to OC knows, a lot of the food leaves much to be desired--greasy fries, uninspired pizza, tasteless breakfasts. This place is a cut above anything I've had at the shore. Our breakfasts were amazing. My husband and I each has the "Same Old, Same Old," the basic eggs, meat, home fries, and toast, but it was anything but basic. The homefries were perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the bacon had a tasty applewood smoked flavor. Even the toast was something special--no standard sliced white bread here--it tasted homemade and came with delicious peach and raspberry jams. My daughter had chocolate chip pancakes and enjoyed them immensely! As I said, I just wish we had discovered them earlier; perhaps I could have avoided the greasy lunches and dinners I "enjoyed" at the shore. If their breakfasts are any indication, their lunches and dinners must be amazing as well. Next time we're there, we're definitely ordering some Dixie picnic lunches!

My family and I ate here yesterday. The people were friendly and the coffee was awesome. This place is not your typical breakfast greasy spoon. The decor is really charming with a Florida Keys style to it.

Now to the important part.......THE FOOD!!!! I had the eggs benedict and it was perhaps the best eggs benedict that I've ever eaten. The canadian bacon is not your typical piece of red hard meat. It is a tender browned piece of tasty pork. My wife really enjoyed her "Jack's Same Ol' Breakfast" which is the standard eggs, bacon, homefries and toast. Even the kids breakfast of french toast sticks was high quality.

Great coffee, great food, and great atmosphere. What more could you ask for?
