My wife, daughter, 2 friends and I just returned from one of the most enjoyable 3 day treks I've ever experienced. Stuart and Leah run the most professional and customer service oriented outfits I've ever seen. They went out of their way to provide all necessary information beforehand and answer any questions we had prior to our arrival at the trailhead. I was really impressed with Stuart's friendliness and impeccable customer service skills. As we arrived at the trailhead, he stopped what he was doing, brushing and saddling the llamas, and came over to our van and introduced himself and shook our hands and asked if we had any questions. Once the trek began, he handled a couple of client related "glitches" with the utmost professionalism and compassion. I was impressed with his knowledge of the area's plant and animal life. We learned how to identify different animal scat by comparing it to what candy it looked like - sheep looked like junior mints, elk were milk duds, deer were goobers, etc. What a sense of humor he has and he is quite the gourmet cook. Not only did he provide our regular meals but he provided a gluten-free alternative to clients that followed a gluten-free diet. The whole trip was so enjoyable and we managed to miss almost all of the rain. The views from Latir Peak were breathtaking. I thank you, Stuart, for allowing us to share your office and for taking such good care of all of us. I am looking forward to seeing you again in the future.
