We stayed at this hotel for the last 3 nights of our Honeymoon. We had a superior room, which to be honest did not seem worth the price we paid. Our room was right at the top of the hill (alot of steps) and was very small. The bathroom also needed some work with newspaper stuffed around the toilet pipes to prevent wildlife from entering the room. This did not stop the ants. Some of the other rooms may have been better.

The owner was very friendly and the rest of the staff mixed. Hotel location was good to explore the rest of the island being right in the centre (bike hire available <£4/day). Anse Source d'Argent 30min walk. 20min to the jetty.

Breakfast options were more limited than at previous hotels and eating breakfast late was not a good idea as there was often very little left. We only ate in the restaurant once for lunch - a couple of sandwiches. We ate out the rest of the time. Gregoire's Pizzeria was really good and cheap (15-20min walk) and Chez Marston (nice cocktails). Bring a torch as no street lighting. We had luch at the Patatran, which was good but more expensive than local restaurants. The hotel here looked nicer than ours but is not as central.
