My husband and I visited Lokobe Reserve during our trip to Madagascar. It was a highly enjoyable experience and our guide Harman, very informative. We saw a good number of different lemurs, lots of interesting plants, chameleons, small frogs and gecko's and also a Boa constrictor snake. Lunch was fantastic with crabs, grilled game fish and crayfish with a sumptuous salad and flavored rice. The only bad thing about our visit, was the small village which had quite a bit of rubble and rubbish lying around, taking away some of the beauty of the place, especially being a nature reserve. We booked our trip through the Royal Beach Hotel and would definitely recommend it to others. Make sure you take some insect repellant for the mosquitos!
