We had a light dinner and a couple of glasses of wine. The wine was quite good, and an unusually good value at $7 per glass. Salads were kind of large, especially given their low price. Would have liked smaller salads of better quality. Burgers were the best part of the meal-- cooked perfectly.
It was the front of house that was really odd and sometimes annoying. They asked every single guest for their names. I don't know if they're trying to track repeat customers, but we found this pretty intrusive. We were there early and it was slow, so they started sharpening pencils. Lots of them. That got annoying after a while. Wait staff were pretty good, but seemed awkward and unpolished at times-- will probably get better with more experience and/or training.
In short, this place is head and shoulders above other restaurants in the area, and it was a relief to get some good food. They still have some work to do, especially in the front of house.
