I stayed here during the off-season. It was a nice size room and bathroom. There is a balcony you can walk onto. The only thing was housekeeping kept leaving the windows open and it was cold at night when we returned! Freshly prepared breakfast for you. Staff was friendly. Everything in Fira is close walking distance so the location was good. I would stay here again.

Just wanted to share my experience with other tourists. This is a hotel I liked very much. Nice rooms along with friendly service. The hotel is located exactly in the center, so it very easy to go everywhere!

I visited Pelican Hotel on Jan 10, 2006. It is located just in the center of Fira, the capital of Santorini. Simple hotel, but really warm! Excellent service. very friendly staff indeed! I've been there with my partner and it was a nice experience. What we 've enjoyed most was that the guys working there are really very knowledgeable about Santorini, so that they are always able to provide with the correct info concerning the island.

We would cerainly recommend it!!

The rooms were very simple, dark and dingy. The hotel was on a main road, which made it loud. But also, the noise from the lobby and hallways carried into the rooms. The pipes in the bathroom leaked and we had cockroaches in our room. It's very hard to believe that this hotel was rated "top end" by the lonely planet!
