I took my boyfriend to the Olde Rhinebeck for his 65th birthday. We had an amazingly wonderful time. Jonna, the innkeeper is a fabulous hostess. Her breakfasts are delicious multicourse events. If you have food issues she takes care of you. If you need something special she makes it happen. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and in case of rainy days there are loads of board games and magazines to keep you busy. There is a pretty pond on the property and it's only a few minutes to town. We will definitely go again!

You simply cannot find a better b&b experience anywhere. The inn itself is lovely, historic, beautifully appointed; the rooms are incredibly comfortable, impeccably clean and you'll feel instantly at home; and the innkeeper is warm, welcoming and an excellent chef. The town of Rhinebeck is charming and the area offers many diversions; the Olde Rhinebeck Inn is the ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Highly, highly recommended!!!

My wife and I just spent several days at the Olde Rhinebeck Inn and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The room and the inn were rustic, charmingly furnished and immaculate, with attention to detail. Breakfasts were varied and delicious, even though we somewhat limited Jonna, the proprietor who does the cooking, by forgoing meat. Jonna is a lovely person: friendly, interesting to talk to and genuinely concerned with your well being. She's also quite knowledgeable about the area, with good suggestions about shops and pretty country roads. We highly recommend this inn.

We celebrated our 35th anniversary at the inne - we were there for 2 nights and I wish it were longer - the rooms we had were clean, rustic and just charming - the breakfasts were great especially the frattata and the snacks were delicious especially the apple pie and coconut banana bread - there were sitters the days we were there and they were very helpful and attentive to my husband and me - can't wait to go back.

“Absolutely wonderful stay”

This review has been a long time coming. I can't believe I took so long to finally write in. My husband and I stayed at the Olde Rhinebeck Inn for our honeymoon back in May. We decided to use the Inn as a home base for exploring New York. We couldn't have picked a more wonderful location.

The inn itself is absolutely charming. We stayed in the Plow and Harrow room, which was spacious, although the ceilings were slightly short in places for my 6'2" husband. He certainly didn't mind, however. It definitely added to the charm. Our location was perfect; we felt part of the household, and yet somewhat secluded from the other Guests. Jonna was right in suggesting this particular room.

The best part of the stay was Jonna, and the service she provided. Not only did she welcome us as if we were long lost friends, we felt completely taken care of the entire stay. One morning during our stay, we decided to leave extra early to catch the train into the city. She prepared a wonderful cold breakfast that she stocked in the room the night before so that we wouldn't leave hungry. This is just one example of how pampered we felt during our stay.

We will always remember our stay in Rhinebeck, from the wonderful restaurants (highly recommend Calico Restaurant and Patisserie) to the Memorial Day parade we had the opportunity to witness.

We were very sorry to leave Rhinebeck and the Olde Rhinebeck Inn and return to the "real world". This is definitely a trip that neither of us will ever forget.
