If you are expecting 5 star accommodation, you will be disappointed, but
However, if you are after somewhere very clean to stay, with owners and staff who go the extra mile, then it ticks those boxes.
A drawback is its location - not in the town of Afandou, and close to the main Rhodes to Lindos dual carriageway, and not a lot to do on site unless you are a sun-worshipper, however, there is a regular bus service (cheap) to Rhodes town, Lindos etc, taxis, or car hire which can be arranged on site.
Comments have been made about the food - there was always something to eat, and the chef encouraged you to try different tastes - Michelin starred cuisine it was not, but good tasty food it certainly was.
The owners are trying to improve facilities all of the time, and their efforts are showing, - yes, the odd light switch didn't work, and the TV lost stations periodically, but who goes to an island as beautiful as Rhodes to sit in a hotel room watching TV?
Mainly Brits when I was there, with some German and Eastern Europeans - there was a good buzz about the place, and the people I met there were great! (Hi, Janet S, Welsh Ronnie and others..........).
The cleaners work constantly to keep the public area, corridors and rooms spotless.
As mentioned in earlier posts, there is a free shuttle bus to and from Afandou beach every day, but if you want to go to the lovely Tsambika beach, share a taxi with someone or drive.
If I knew what the Golf view was like before I went, would I still have booked - definitely!
