PROS: Room 147. Don't believe the negative reviews. The rooms are beautiful. The rooms have three sections: bathroom, bedroom and then couch and table. Bathroom has two sinks. French doors lead outside to balcony overlooking the river. Beds were sooooo comfortable. Clean inside and out. Very courteous desk employees. Plenty of drawers to store clothes. Excellent water pressure, soft and lintless towels.

CONS: No wireless internet. No ethernet plug in. Pool: outside only, a little small, but clean. Check in was a little slow because of the July 4 celebrations. People with no reservations were in line. Employees should had put a sign "No vacancies" at entrance to speed up check in.

Overall, very nice and clean rooms. Will definitely stay here for the price ($125.00 B4 taxes).

Enjoyed every minute. Great bed, clean room, fantastic breakfast.
Only possible complaint would be a small 'fridge in the room would be nice.
In particular the staff spent a lot of time chatting with us, making recommendations about things to do and see in Cherokee.
Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

I was a little worried about my booking at this motel after I read the negative reviews on Trip Adviser but after arriving I knew immediately that the persons making the negative comments must have reviewed the wrong motel. This place is great and it does not have three stories. The internet service is great with the free iBridge repeater supplied by the front desk. It does require an ethernet port on your computer. I could only get two bars on the wireless but I chose not to bother because I usually get frequent interruptions with two bars.
Google maps shows the motel east of where it actually is. Take 19 West about a mile from 441-19 jct.
The motel is newer and in great shape. It has outside entry but the doors are tight and has limited noise infiltration. The location is not in the city proper but in five minutes you can be anywhere in the shops and parks.
The room I got is very nice and very roomy with separate sitting area and workdesk. Very clean with riverview and French doors to the balcony. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn, Cherokee NC April 12, 2008 and it was throughly enjoyable. It's not a flashy motel but very comfortable. Rooms were clean and the bed was a great night's sleep.

Continental breakfast was all right, not exceptional. Hot foods offered were pancakes, french toast and egg and sausage sandwich. Just pop them in the microwave and you have a hot breakfast.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Overall it was good experience.
