My fiance and I travel quite a bit and we always use trip advisor to plan our trips. Let me say we were not disappointed in our selection to stay at this hotel. We checked in Christmas Eve to a very friendly and helpful staff. Upon entering the room (No. 242) it looked even better than the photos on this site. Nice view of the river off the balcony. Extremely clean room with a comfortable bed. We will definently stay there again and its only minutes away from the casino.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn - Cherokee on December 29, 2006. We were a little concerned because of one of the other reviews on here but we found the property to be great especially for the cost. We had two rooms and they were both extremely clean. We made reservations ahead of time and had no problem with getting the rooms we had requested. The rooms (140 &141) were very spacious with a jacuzzi, a small fridge, microwave, sitting area, and king size bed in the room. There was also a balcony/patio facing the river. No complaints at all! I would definitely stay here again and I would highly recommend this property!

This hotel looks nothing like the picture on the web; don't know where the picture was taken. We arrived within the time limit and did not get our non-smoking room as promised. The clerk told us for the price we were getting there were no non-smoking rooms and if we wanted one we would have to pay the going rate at that time which was $25 more. The rooms are small and well worn. This hotel needs a make-over! This is the Comfort Inn on 44 Tsalagi Rd that is rated better.

Nice place to stay. The river is pretty to look at but very steep hill to go down for a closer view. Really a hard walk back up. Free breakfast. Not much but will hold you over. We found it difficult to find and it is really a little out of the way .Staff was courteous. Booked a non-smoking room but got a smoking one. The odor was horrible, but when we called the desk they changed us immeditely. Would stay again.
