We spent a rainy night here last October after driving through the Smokey Mountains. Overall, it was a decent motel:
LOCATION: It's a perfect stopover if you're doing the Smokies and then heading north through the Blue Ridge Pkwy (or vice versa). I sort of had difficulty finding it, because it's not on the "Motel Row" you see after coming out of Smokey Mtn N.P. Once I got my bearings I found it OK.
ROOMS: Fairly spacious. Restroom could have been a bit cleaner. Beds were comfortable.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Front desk got us checked in quickly. The attendants at the complimentary breakfast kept the area clean.
RESTAURANTS: I couldn't find a whole lot to choose from, but it may have been the time of day and time of year. We ended up eating at a Bob's Big Boy off the main drag in Cherokee.
COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST: Quite good. Huge wafflemaker to use if you like those.
Overall a good place to stay at a good value.
