This was a one night stay here, and i was plesently surprised. I have never stayed in a La Quinta before and this was a clean bright and friendly hotel. It was as if the hotel had opend only yesterday. The rooms were big and the bed was comfortable. I could not find fault in the bedroom or bathroom. It was deffinatly better than some of the more expensive hotels we have stayed on our vacation. I would highly recomend this hotel to anyone staying in the Durham / Chapel Hill area.

This was our second stay at LaQuinta and I wouldn't bother to look elsewhere when staying in the Chapel Hill area.This hotel is clean, attractive and quiet. The beds are comfortable and the continental breakfast is very good. The value for your money is excellent. It is close to several restaurants and some shopping. Another plus is it is located on Rte 15-501 which will take you directly toward Chapel Hill...very convenient. You'll be pleased with this hotel.

We were here for 5 nights in April for a visit to our daughter at Duke. The hotel was conveniently located less than ten minutes from Duke. It's on the road connecting Durham and Chapel Hill,and it's only about 15 min from UNC. The property is relatively new, and the rooms were of the quality I'd expect from a much more expensive hotel.

La Quinta has an excellent pool and courtyard, and it's located next to a wooded area, so even though it's just off a main road, it feels a lot more secluded when you're inside.

Beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and had a luxury feel. Impressive, for $85/night.

We'll be back next year for graduation. I wouldn't consider looking around for another place to stay.

If you are planning a visit to Duke or UNC, this hotel offers great value and is just what you need. You are located 15 minutes from both campuses. Be sure to ask for the college rate when you make your reservation. The rooms are new and very well appointed. It was nice to have a microwave and refrigerator to use. Just one suggestion would be to have fresh fruit, coffee and tea available 24 hours a day. The staff was very helpful and kind. The desk, chair and free broadband internet make very convenient for a business traveler. Great job La Quinta! You will have my business when I return.
