Room was dingy. For some reason the lights in the room were not up to the task...so a dull/tired room was also dark.
Not worth the money - seek alternates.

I stayed here twice this month. The hotel is okay, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. Coming into the clean lobby, the first thing I smelled was smoke. I thought they didn't allow smoking in building, but I was wrong. I never saw anyone smoking, but the smell was there. I was on the 2nd floor each time and noticed there are ashtrays with cig butts in them outside the elevators. I had requested a nonsmoking room and started to worry about that when I stepped off the elevator. My room smelled fresh and not like smoke and there was a sign in the room saying this room was for non smokers. But if you have a smoke allergy, I would recommend not staying here, because the smell in the lobby and sometimes in the hallway was strong.
Each room was made up and clean. No issues with cleanliness. My first room did not have a remote control for the tV. I requested one, but they never did deliver. Only other issue was that some times the TV & Phone would go out. I was on a conference call and the phone would go dead and took a while to get a signal again. I think they might have been working on something because I tried to use my cell to call the front desk and I could not get a line in. The heater unit in the window was extremely LOUD. It was difficult to Sleep or listen to the TV. I turned it off, but then got so cold the first night. The next night I jsut cranked it up and left the room and then turned it off when I came back.
The next trip, I was in a room 4 doors down and this time I had a Remote and a new heating unit in the room. It was so quiet. No issues, except one of the 2 phones did not work.
Breakfast is a large buffet. You get charged by what you get. I felt it was very reasonable. I got oatmeal and fruit, coffee and Juice for $3

Business service (e.g., internet access)Sometimes Hotwire works well and some times it doesn't. This hotel uses Hotwire to sell their smoking room inventory. They don't give you a choice in the matter. Thus, they put myself, my wife and my two young toddlers in a smoking room. When we immediately requested another room, we were told they were sold out. Management is totally unsympathetic and blames you, the customer for being so foolish as to book through Hotwire. I've had excellent stays at other hotels for Hotwire. I just won't be returning to this hotel every again. Among other things, the room reeks of stale cigarettes, they charge $10 for internet and $10 for a crib, the tub doesn't have a drain plug, etc.

This hotel was awful! We were booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 2. We couldn’t get away fast enough.
The room was small, cramped, and set up awkwardly. My husband actually ended up banging his knee pretty badly because of the way the dresser and TV armoire were situated.
Their room service was ridiculously overpriced. We ended up paying almost $35 for 2 appetizers and 2 small sodas! The next day at breakfast, we were charged $25 for 3 pieces of bacon, some fruit, and a bagel. Their breakfast buffet doesn’t list any prices, so we were shocked when we got this bill at the end of our meal.
The walls are paper thin, which means you can hear your neighbor’s TV and every door that opens and closes during your stay. To top it off, the hotel is right next to a train track! We could literally see the train going by our window!! And what’s worse, it runs all through the night!
The last night we stayed there, we ended up calling hotels.com to get out of our agreement. A group people on our floor spent the entire night playing music and running up and down the halls way (until 4:30 a.m.). When we called the front desk we were told there wasn’t “anything that could be done since they are paying guests.”
Hotels.com was helpful to fix the problem—once we finally got to someone who knew what they were doing. The first customer service agent told us we’d be charge $500 for the stay since we wanted to leave early!! $500 for the worst hotel ever! The second agent we talked to didn’t know why were told that, and ended up refunding a portion of our money.
We will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

Stayed in this hotel for two nights in May 07. I had booked for 7 nights but started looking for an alternative residence within hours of arrival.
Small rooms, not cleaned ( I had the previous occupants trash still in the room, noisy air conditioning, shabby decor, no working vending machine, room not made up on second day of stay ( nor was my colleagues on a different floor ).
This was graduation week in RTP hence the need to suffer 2 nights in Wyndham before there was available rooms in other hotels.
I moved to the Holiday Inn Express just down the road and have subsequently stayed there on three occasions - Wyndhams loss.
