The door had a huge crack all the way around the frame, if it had rained, the floor would have been soaked due to the huge gap at the bottom of the door. The windows were screwed to the frame so you could not open them. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. The sheets on the bed would not stay on the due to being stretched and old- no fitted sheet on the mattress.... when laying on the mattress you could actually feel the box springs; extremely out dated as the rest of the room, very dark, musky and dreary room-- Although pets are allowed,I was not informed of the $10.00 non-refund fee for my small dog through priceline.com until I arrived......, There were no dining areas right there, we did have to get back on the interstate and drive a few miles before we saw any dining places.......I could have received a better deal reserving straight thru Best Western using the senior discount ---when i called priceline about it, I was told that there was nothing I could do now!!!!! .....I would not recommend Priceline nor this Best Western. Just not a good experience at all for us!

My wife and I were a little skeptical because you never know what you are getting with a 2-star-ish motel. We did want a place that was dog friendly, so this Best Western it ended up being. The charge for our dog was an additional $10, by the way. It wasn't the nicest room, but for the price is was definitely adequate. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. They even showed me how to use the waffle maker for the breakfast in the morning. The free breakfast included cereal (which was not put out, but available), yogurt, fruit, bagels, juice, coffee and the afore mentioned waffles.
It's not close to a lot of restaurants. We ended up going to a Chinese place about a mile away for take out. I'm not sure if they deliver or not, but there was a pizza place's phone number on the room key that delivers.
They did have a swimming pool outside that looked in decent shape, although we didn't have time to use it. It was 6 feet at the deep end.
Again, don't expect a four (or even 3) star hotel, and you should be happy. Our "pet" room smelled a little bit, but I'm sure it's hard to keep hotel rooms not smelling like animals.
The only complaint was that I found a rate online and wanted to verify that our dog was o.k. to stay with us. When I called the hotel to book, they said they couldn't match the Bestwestern.com online price (which was $12 more). Kind of annoying that I had to get off the phone and go back online to their own website to book. I could understand if it was Expedia, Travelocity, etc. or some other website. Not a big deal, I guess, all things considered.

This is about the 3rd time I have stayed at this motel. It's just your basic motel but it's clean, has some nice homey touches, and the lady who's there at night (Holly) made me feel like a guest, not just a customer. I got the feeling she was looking out for me, a woman traveling alone, particuarly; she put me in the room nearest the office which made me feel better since the rooms have exterior entrance only. When you go outside in the morning you see trees all around and hear all kinds of birds chirping. There's a children't playground next to the pool. They have a waffle maker for breakfast. Lots of flowers and plants around. Tomatos growing in the front yard. Little touches and the clean air make this a special little motel (that and its rates are pretty affordable).

Only disadvantages, you have to make a U turn and watch for signs to find it, and it is surrounded by "country" so little bugs can get into your room (I saw a couple of those little beetles in the bathroom, no big deal for me, nothing like the big jobs that walk in in Atlanta!). It sits on a hill over I85 so you get the road noise, but otherwise it's very natural. For some reason I just love this spot.

Oh, and they are not too country to have wireless internet now. Whatta you know, my cell phone even worked here.
