My first time at a Baymont and made me a believer. This was one of the best motels I stayed at on my two week trip south. Clean and nicely appointed rooms, free Internet and good staff. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at this hotel several times while our daughter was a student at East Carolina University. It was previously a Hampton Inn, but became a Baymont Inn at the beginning of 2007. We tried a couple of other hotels in the area when this one was completely booked, but found this hotel to be our favorite. It is convenient to ECU and our daughter's apartment. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is always plenty of hot water and fluffy towels for showers.
The last time we were there was for graduation. We needed several rooms to accomodate some extra family members. The desk clerk went out of his way to find the last available room for us. Although it was a smoking room (none of us smoke), I took it because there were no other rooms available anywhere in Greenville for graduation weekend. The desk clerk then advised me to call back a week or so before graduation, because they often get cancellations at that time. I did so, and they were able to give me a non-smoking room.
The breakfast room is sometimes a bit crowded, but we were usually able to find a table. The food consisted of yogurt, fruit, cereal, danish, juice, and coffee. There were also some microwaveable breakfast biscuits and sandwiches.
If you are planning on staying at his hotel for parents' weekend, graduation, or any other university events, I recommend making reservations several months in advance. The number of hotel rooms in Greenville is inadequate for the number of people who attend these events. If you wait until the last minute, you will not be able to book a room anywhere.

We checked in here after checking out of the Marriott Courtyard. Very nice hotel. Good location. Clean. Very good and helpful at check-in. Would definetly stay here again. Had very reasonable rates.

Pretty much what you'd expect from a Hampton Inn. Not too shabby, but certainly nothing to write home about. My biggest complaint is the outside corridors. Other than that, the location was good, the place was clean, and the continental breakfast more than adequate. I'll definitely return.
