I traveled to Greenville to go to my daughter's college orientation. She stayed in the dorm so I needed someplace in town that was nice, convenient and safe. I got all three at the Best Western.
The hotel is located about three miles from the ECU campus, which made it very easy for me to drive back and forth to campus. It's located off a major thoroughfare so I think it would be convenient when staying in Greenville, even if you weren't there for the college.
Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. My room was big with a king size bed, fold out couch, desk, coffee table, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Everything was very clean and orderly.
The bed had lots of nice pillows and was so soft and comfortable that I had no problem sleeping there. Being able to fall asleep on hotel room beds and with hotel pillows is sometimes a problem for me but it wasn't the case here.
The bathroom was large as well but the water pressure in the shower wasn't great, it wasn't awful, but it wasn't great.
Hotel amenities - pool, workout room and business center were very nice. In fact, I needed to use mapquest and did so at the business center and was able to print out directions, which was very helpful.
The breakfast that's included is nice. It's nothing fancy but it's more than adequate. I had a bagel and a half of muffin, along with some tea. My food was fresh and good. The breakfast worker kept the area very clean and nice.
Checkout was easy, too.
I stayed there on a Wednesday night. Check in time wasn't until 4 p.m., which is a little late, in my opinion. I got there a little early and asked if they would let me check in but I was told I could do it at 3:45 at the earliest. You also must be checked out by 11 a.m. A sign in your room warns you that if you go past 11 a.m. at all, you will be charged for an other day.
I liked the Best Western Suites in Greenville and would definitely stay there again.
