Our family just spent four days there in order to ski at Cataloochee. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and well maintained. This was such a vast improvement over the last hotel we had at Maggie (but that's a different review!) The proprietor, or one of his employees, was always available for questions, and quite helpful when we were checking on local restaurants. Frankly, we would return there in a heartbeat, and I wholeheartedly recommend this place! The only improvement would be in the continental breakfast. But just across the parking lot is a nice little restaurant, and they allow a 10% discount for hotel guests. Families...an added incentive is free Cataloochee weekday lift tickets for your kids if you stay here (which we took advantage of on a daily basis!)

The hotel room was your average hotel room. It had a balcony over a mountain stream and it was nice to look at. Don't come for the indoor pool or the hot tub. The swimming pool was tiny and a real joke. The hot tub would only hold 2 people. The free breakfast isn't very good either. They had cereal but no milk.

The hotel was in a good location and just a few minutes away from sking, snow tubing, and horseback riding.

My family and I go to Maggie Valley every year...and always stay at the Ramada Limited. For one, is is a very quaint, friendly hotel on a beautiful setting; for two, the people that work there (especially Cathy) are the BEST! Almost family! Sandra

Valley the is one person that always makes us feel welcome and her name is Cathy . I would recamend RAMANDA LIMITED to any one that i knew because the people are very nice down there . But Cathy is the best there.
