We LOVE the Valley Inn and the owners, Andy & Linda Taylor. Its our "home away from home". We got married there in November of 2006. The beautiful creek and gazebo out back is a piece of heaven on earth. Every April and September we meet friends from Virginia at the Valley Inn and have a large time. Andy hosts a cookout for everybody and we sit around a campfire and have a grand ole" time! Someone complained that there were no phones in the rooms. Why do you go on a vacation to start with? We go to get away from all that. Besides, most everyone has a cell phone anyway. And it also helps to keep room costs down when there is not added expense such as an extra phone bill. We've never had a problem with noise. The housekeeper, Lois, keeps everything in order and clean. She is always pleasant and making sure your room has what you need. Andy never sits still for very long. He's always making sure you're comfortable. We highly recommend the Valley Inn. You'll never find better "Innkeepers" and the love they have for God is evident in all they do. If you're looking for peace and tranquility and the best service and hospitality around, visit the Valley Inn with Andy and Linda. You won't regret it!

We have stayed with Andy and Linda for years!!!! The sound of the creek, the quiet, and great coffee with conversation! We love the gazebo. We like the convenience to other places. It's just a very peaceful place! We never stay anywhere else in the area!

We are gospel singers and had the opportunity to sing in Maggie Valley. We stayed at the Valley Inn and the relaxation and view were so great. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Andy's hospitality was so great we plan a vacation time there this year.

My husband and I appreciated the warmth and friendliness of the hotel staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. I got what I expected. The rates were reasonable. The mountain stream out back was very pleasant to listen to each time we walked to and from our room. We enjoyed sitting on the swing for a few moments enjoying the quiet/stream. The rooms have no phones, however, our cell phones worked just fine. We ordered pizza on our first night so we experienced no lack of convenience. Andy, I beleive is his name, helped us locate a great place for breakfast the next morning. Very friendly...which is a must for me. I can't stand a lack of manners or hospitality which I can almost guarantee will NOT be a problem here. These folks love what they do. I would stay here again. Maggie Valley is a nice quiet side to the mountains. If you are looking for a beautiful mountain getaway with an old "mom and pop" feel to it, Maggie Valley is a wonderful place to visit!
