Stayed one night. The hotel was clean and the staff was attentive and pleasant. We purposely chose this hotel after seeing that the manager had responded to one of the previous reviews - that shows they are paying attention to their customers!

The only negative for us was that there was a musty odor to the room. It certainly wasn't overpowering, and not worth switching rooms, but enough to notice.

Overall, a pleasant experience.

This hotel was great. Its not a luxury stay by any means, but it was very comfortable, the staff was helpful and polite, the facility was very community oriented with social hours, breakfasts, BBQ's by the pool etc. NOrmally I think that kind of thing is cheezy, but I really had a nice stay. There are some good restaurants within walking distance and its a great hotel for a stop off of I64. I stayed here for business for 5 nights, and truly enjoyed the accomodations.

We used our Mariott points to book this stay. We were in Rocky Mount for 8 days, with 5 people, including a baby...this place was perfect for us. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite. The rooms are clean and decorated above average. The wireless internet was nice, with a strong signal, easy to access. The rooms and bathrooms were roomy. We did get placed in a handicap room, so my mom only had a shower, no tub. And we were next to the storage room, so there was some banging. I would suggest asking for a room on an upper level, because we could hear the people above us.
However, the value was excellent. The hotel was easy to find...right off the highway, with restaurants and shopping nearby. The pool was great, the jacuzzi was nice. The service was WONDERFUL! The staff was so friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasent, even loading our dishwasher and taking out extra trash bags that we had. My baby girl had an "accident" on the bed one night, which required stripping the bed and replaced the mattress cover, and they were SO friendly about it, didn't make me feel badly or anything.
The best part is the food. The breaskfast is complimentary everymorning, and offers a variety, with meat, potatoes, eggs, hot oatmeal, granola, and cappacinos and espressos. Monday-Thursday night, there is free dinner, which again is quite extensive, several dishes, and beer and wine offered.
Overall, this is an excellant place to stay if you need a little more room and permanance.

Visted with a pet. The two bedroom suite was disappointing as each only had a queen bed. Evidentially they do not have kings in that setup. The beds were more like a full. The rooms were older and outdated and had a musty smell. However, the bed was comfortable and we were able to get a good nights sleep.
Did not agree with the $75 pet fee as seemed like a waste for us only being there one night.
