Disappointed. I used Hotwire, which I've always had great hotels when I select 3 stars or better, but this was a dud. It was clean, I'll give them that, but it needs remodeling. The rooms are old and dated. The TV's are tiny old tube tv's, floral bedspread, old faded prints for "artwork" on the walls, forest green and burgundy theme. Tub looked old and gross. The woman at the counter was ok, nice enough, but we also experienced her ignoring the counter duties to talk on a personal call several times. There is nothing to do out here, so I recommend staying downtown instead and hanging out at the Old Market, which is very cool. We tried getting a taxi and it took 30 minutes. Then when we asked about coming back, he said, "oh, there are taxi's all over the market, you can flag one down." We saw none and had to call again, at least the wait wasn't as bad on the way home. The breakfast was nice, cereals, bagels, toast, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, doughnuts/muffins and make-your-own waffles with a batter dispenser and waffle irons. They have free cookies at check-in too, but that didn't make this overly priced room worth it.
Don't stay here - stay downtown!
