My wife and I spent one night here between destinations. The hotel appears to be quite new and is very nice. Our room with a king size bed was large with lots of room to move around. Our room decorations and furniture were nice and included a microwave and refrigerator. Both our room and bath area were very clean.
The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood of other nice hotels and chain restaurants including Cracker Barrel, Carrabbas, Olive Garden and Ruby Tuesdays.
The breakfast area is large with plenty of tables. The breakfast bar had standard Holiday Inn Express items, including a choice of juices and cereals, breads, coffee, tea and milk, plus individually packaged sausage and biscuits for heating in the microwave.
The front desk people were pleasant and gave us a map of restaurants along the waterfront area (one of the local attractions), but had no personal knowledge about any of them.
But there were two things that made our stay less than ideal. First, the Internet service was down during our stay. Second, the walls are thin. Peope in another room somewhere in the hotel came in at 2:50 am (in the middle of the night) and played a concert with singing which woke both of us up and kept us awake for well over 30 minutes. And neither of us are light sleepers. At breakfast in the morning we overheard others also talking about this intrusion on their sleep.
On the assumption that very noisy guests and lack of Internet service are infrequent problems, we would consider staying here again, because the hotel itself is very nice.
