We stayed a night at this motel and were shocked. The room was filthy, stained carpets, paint peeling from bathroom ceiling. The beds were terrible and had the smallest pillows you have ever seen. Very narrow parking spaces. The room had the odor of urine in it. This is a dog-friendly motel which is very fitting considering the condition and smell of the room. There are plenty of motels in the area, pick another one.

I found this motel to be very clean and accommodating. Checking in and out, the staff were superb. The Housekeeping staff were also superb. The on-site restaurant offers breakfast at excellent prices. Any choice on the menu is worth the small amount of money they charge, and they give a ten per cent discount on all meals if you are staying at the motel. Convenient restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. The only minor disappointment was that the pillows were too hard, so take your own if you are accustomed to soft pillows. I would recommend this Day's Inn to anyone visiting Wilmington, NC.

Our room at the Days Inn was very clean and the staff was friendly and courteous! The pool is secluded and very well maintained. Breakfast at Duane's family restaurant on site was FABULOUS and again the service was friendly! We will be back again! The only down side was during high traffic times it was difficult to get in and out of the parking lot but that was not too big of a problem for us.
