I really can't understand why some reviewers have criticised this hotel. The hotel is clean, in a pretty location and excellent value. It is at the far end of the resort so more suited to those who want a quieter place rather than a hectic nightlife- although there is a road train into the centre or it's about 15 mins walk. The hotel is right on the beach, and next to the Baltata forest reserve which is nice for birds, although you can only enter a very small part of it. We had planned to go eat in restaurants in the centre but after two nights they had all closed down for the end of the season, so we were forced to use the hotel buffet. Normally I hate hotel buffets, but what a surprise: good food, amazing choice, dishes renewed regularly, unlimited beer wine and local spirits - all for roughly £7.50! Far less than the restaurants in the centre.More
