We stayed in the executive cottages during our week on Prince Edward Island. This place is perfect. We drove over 2000 miles looking forward to staying here again. The cottages are perfect and safe for families. The location is close to everything but off of the main road. My daughters loved having tea with "Anne" and all of the kids loved the fireside songs. Our van broke down at the beach just down the street when we were there and Al (One of the owners) not only came and got us but towed our van back to the cottages. He also checked on us the next day and called the tow truck to get our van fixed. I cannot imagine a better place to stay and this place will always be an incredible memory for our family. If you are looking for a perfect place to stay then make your way here.

We were so blessed to have stayed at such a wonderful place as the Kindred Spirits Inn on our vacation in May of 2007! We could never have picked a more peaceful and restful Inn in which to stay. We want to again thank Al, Sharon and staff for a most pleasurable time. It was our anniversary on May 15th and when we got back to our room, there on the table was a wonderful book from Al and Sharon titled "A Match Made In Heaven"!

We would recommend Kindred Spirits to everyone wanting to visit Cavendish! It is a wonderful and beautiful place!

We stayed in the main building in a small but comfortable room on the second floor. No elevator, and we overpacked, but that's our fault. One queen bed, comfortable, in a very nicely decorated room. Our entire two-night stay, including the breakfast, was delightful. The Kindred Spirits is a short walk to the Anne of Green Gables stuff. The building and grounds are very pretty, the staff is very friendly, and everything we experienced was top notch. Cavendish itself doesn't have much to offer, but the Kindred Spirits Inn makes up for it.

We have just returned from a trip to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward island. Our stay at Kindred Spirits was the highlight of our trip. The staff was so gracious. The breakfasts were delicious. We had the romance package which included a picnic basket to enjoy on the beach. They also fixed us a chowder supper which was wonderful. The home is so beautiful and the atmosphere relaxing. They had recommendations for us. We enjoyed an Irish Music show called a Ceilidh. We visited lighthouses and loved the park and beaches. We visited Green Gables and Avonlea. If you are going to PEI, I recommend Kindred Spirits highly. It was perfect.
