This really is a gem of a hotel. The staff go out of their way to make your stay as restful as possible and being extremely pet friendly, for those travelling with their pooches this hotel is very hard to beat. We have stayed in a number of rooms in the annex which have been imaginatively converted from old farm buildings into very comfortable rooms, some with four posters and jacuzzi baths, all with satellite TV, VCR and CD and squashy chairs. Restaurant food is hearty with local produce a feature. Happy to recommend, I wouldnt stay anywhere else when I am visiting the area.
