Had a rummage around Ulverston before we settle on t'Mill. Menu is an unusual jumbled up of old classics (fish & chips, pasta) and quite ambitious upscale cooking (venison, wild boar). Inside is also a mixture, old fashioned beams and stone walls alongside quite a fancy bar and lighting. Food was great, unexpectedly excellent as I was worried this was a tourists spot. V well presented, nicely seasoned and thoughtfully cooked. I dont think anything we ate came out of a microwave which is very different to Barrow. It's too far from my Barrow base to come everyday but I'll probably taxi over once a week or so.
