I stayed at the Marriott Westlake Residence Inn in June and was so impressed that I arranged for the out-of-town guests to stay there when we returned for a wedding in July. Everyone was very pleased with the suites and the service. My nieces and nephews enjoyed the pool and my wife loved the high-end shopping and fine restaurants just a few blocks away at the Crocker Promenade. The bed again was very comfortable and my wife noticed as I did that they give you a half-dozen different types of pillows so that you can pick which one is right for you. Nice touch. The staff was very freindly and helpful -- one of the TV's was out in one of the suites (the larger suites come with three), and the staff came right out with a replacement. High-speed internet is free in all the rooms-- which is a great perk. The place is clean, smells fresh, and the carpets and furniture look new. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with plenty of choices. My only wish is that they get a quieter model refrigerator for the suite I was in-- it sounded like a jet engine starting up. No one else had that problem though. In spite of that I thought it was a great stay.
